The Rothenberger 72091R Pipe & Drain Cleaning Coil from ITS is a simple, effective and reusable drain maintenance tool designed to quickly clear common household blockages without the need for harsh chemicals or expensive call-outs.

Ideal for plumbers, maintenance engineers, facilities teams and DIY users alike, this compact manual drain cleaning coil easily tackles obstructions in kitchen sinks, washbasins, baths and shower waste pipes. Featuring a flexible vinyl-coated cable and detachable cleaning brush, it not only removes blockages but also helps clean the inside of pipework, making it an essential addition to any plumbing toolkit.

Designed for straightforward operation, the cleaning coil is simply fed into the waste pipe until it reaches the obstruction before being rotated clockwise to break up and remove the blockage.

Once the pipe has been cleared, the detachable brush can be reattached and worked through the pipe while flushing with clean water, helping to remove remaining debris and restore efficient flow. This dual-purpose design allows the tool to both unblock and clean pipework using a single compact accessory.

The 1.32m–1.37m flexible stainless steel cable is protected by a durable vinyl coating that improves service life while safeguarding chrome-plated fittings, polished waste outlets and decorative sanitary ware from scratches during use. The flexibility of the cable allows it to navigate bends and traps commonly found in domestic waste systems, making it suitable for a wide variety of routine maintenance tasks.

Suitable for use on pipes from ½” to 2″, the cleaning coil fits most standard domestic waste systems, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and light commercial properties. Its compact design stores easily in a toolbox, service van or maintenance cupboard, ensuring it’s always available for emergency blockages or preventative maintenance.

Unlike chemical drain cleaners, it offers a reusable, environmentally friendly solution that removes obstructions mechanically without damaging pipework.

Manufactured to Rothenberger’s professional standards, the 72091R provides dependable performance for regular maintenance and emergency call-outs alike. Lightweight, durable and easy to operate, it enables users to restore drainage quickly while reducing downtime and avoiding unnecessary plumbing costs.

Whether you’re clearing hair from shower wastes, grease from kitchen sinks or general debris from basin waste pipes, it delivers reliable results with minimal effort.
